It is a key step for Tahota to build its Southeast Asian Legal Service Center.

We arehonored to have invited Doctor Fengling Li (Helen Li) from Fenwick & West,which headquarters in Silicon Valley and is the world’s leading high-tech andlife sciences law firm, to give us thesplendid lecture on Construction of IPR Protection System ofScience and Technology Enterprises.Thisfeast of intellectual property not only attracted Tahota lawyers from differentoffices, but also peer lawyers, business representatives and universitystudents around China. There are nearly 100 people attending the lecture. Themeeting was chaired by Dr. Jinhan Jiang the senior adviser of Tahota.

Tahota Law Firm Helped Win the Lawsuit of a Large Sum of Patent Award and Reward
Senior partner of Tahota Law Firm Yingmei Han and full-time lawyer Yun Zhang (from Beijing Office) were the attorney agents of Lier Chemical Limited Liability Company (hereafter referred to as Lier Chemical, a listed company in Shenzhen Stock Exchange with the share code of 002258) in the lawsuit with a former employee about patent award and reward. After the trial in Sichuan Mianyang City Intermediate People's Court, the former employee’s request that Lier Chemical should pay him 33 million as patent award and reward was rejected.

On December 2, 2010, Seminar on the Intellectual Property Law in USA sponsored by Chengdu Intellectual Property Office, undertaken by Gaoxin District Intellectual Property Office and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and co-organized by Tahota Law Firm and Chengdu Economic Daily, was grandly held in Chengdu Gaoxin District. Many domestic and foreign intellectual property experts and nearly 150 from over 70 enterprises attended this seminar.
